Arrow Accelerated Academy is a school designed for the 21st century. Our research-based approach prepares children to thrive by utilizing mixed-age studios, personalized learning plans, instructional technology, mastery learning, and character and leadership education. The school and its approach to education is modeled after Acton Academy founded in Austin, Texas in 2008. Today, the Acton network has a global reach with over 250 schools (and counting) worldwide.

At Arrow Accelerated Academy, students in traditional grades PreK-12 learn in collaborative classrooms of multi-age learners. Our flexible approach challenges each student with their differentiated learning plan and inspires them through real-world projects.

We opened a school for our children and for yours.
When we learned about Acton Academy, we knew we had to bring this school to Naperville. Acton Academy is one of the newest and most innovative (and downright coolest) school designs in the world. Each independent Acton school was founded by parents who believe there is a better way to educate their children and help other like-minded families in their community. We would love to tell you our story and learn yours.

DOES THIS REALLY WORK?
The model works! I love that she is learning so many important group/social dynamics and leadership skills by creating their own community norms and having to work through things themselves and deal with natural consequences. That skill set isn’t developed in traditional schools and it is highly needed in the workplace and society.

I have seen my son go from absolutely hating school to wanting to go to bed so he can go to Arrow Academy. He has found a new love for learning. He has become much more curious about everything. Whenever he talks about school now it's always "I can't wait to go back". Seeing him so happy about school is amazing.

My daughter is excited to learn again. She comes home every day motivated to want to work hard and meet her goals. It's really inspiring to see! I've also been moved by the sense of community that she already feels. Watching her take comfort in knowing older learners are looking out for her while also taking pride in being able to help younger learners is such an incredible thing to witness. This school is really special.
